Mark Warner recently signed a bill that states that when a person dies, the funeral director and the legal representative of the deceased person recieve a death certificate.  This law was formerly called HB1727.  Governor Warner signed the bill on February 26, 2005.  The chief patron of the bill was Kenneth Alexander.  Alexander is a Democrat who has been in the House of Burgesses for 3 years.  He represents Norfolk, Virginia.
